Vinyl Printing by Grand Prix Graphix
Hey Artists!
As an option for your board execution, Grand Prix Graphix has agreed to be your printer of choice if you want to design your deck on the computer and have it printed on a vinyl adhesive sheet.
First, lets start with your template.
This is for a four-color, 9.5″ x 34.25″ graphic. It will be printed on 3M Controltac adhesive backed vinyl, with a cast vinyl laminate – best quality of print and substrate for this type of application.
Files can be supplied in any of the Adobe Creative suite programs to the following parameters and concerns:
- Please set file up at 100% of finished size, raster images should be in cmyk mode and at 175 pixels per inch.
- All type should be converted to line art.
- With the compound curves on the board it will cause the vinyl to distort a bit as it is installed.
- This dieline does not represent the curve of that board and how that will affect your artwork, which also makes this template not 100% accurate.
- Be aware that placement may shift some when you adhere it to the board.
Therefore, please design accordingly.
As a reference:
Bleed Size: 9.5” x 34.25”
Board SIze: 7.5” x 32.25
Live Area/Safety: 6.5” x 31.25”
File Delivery: Files will be printed in 2 batches, and it is your job to contact Grand Prix and coordinate file delivery, pickup, go over the details for submitting art.
- Due Date 1: Files delivered by 11/18. They will be ready on or before 11/24.
- Due Date 2: Files delivered by 12/1. They will be ready on or before 12/4.

You payment is due in cash when you get there. The price of the printing will be between $30-$36 (depending on how many of you use this service).
