Please drop off your decks:
IN DENVER: Access Gallery at 909 Santa Fe Drive. Their hours are: Tues-Fri, 10am-5pm. As well as first and third fridays till 9pm. You can call them at 303.777.0797
IN BOULDER: Mighty Fudge Studios. They are located at 1017 Pearl Street. Mighty Fudge is open: Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm.
You must register for your deck for free entrance to the event.
the rules for registered artists are pretty simple. GO NUTS.
The concept, theme, materials and techniques are wide open. You can draw, collage, paint, silkscreen, sculpt, reshape, create a design on the computer and adhere a printed transfer to the bottom of your deck, whatever — it’s your call! The board does not have to be useable when you are done.
We suggest you leave the top 2 holes of your board open for the gallery to mount (this works for boards oriented both horizontally and vertically). However, if you decide to do something else, just be sure there is a way for them to hang it. You are responsible for the cost of materials for your board.
BUT… we would like you to please refrain from using sexually explicit language, profanity, or imagery that could be construed as a copyright infringement, as well as any offensive imagery or overtly sexual imagery. Any decks containing any of the items above will not be displayed.
Also, stuff can not come off your board more than 3 in.; everything must be securely attached and there can be no extra pieces to your board mounted to your deck that will make it larger than its actual size.
