We have had two classes send in photos of their progress and it is sick!

First off… local art class at New Vista High School is Boulder, not ONLY is an uber sponsor of the event, but they have sent in some pics of what they are doing. I know this class is studying the progression from concrete to canvas, so I except them to have some intriguing concepts to show. Check out some of their progress.

Next up, we have David Carson’s class at the University of Wyoming showing us some of their progress and sketches of their deck designs.
We want to see what you are all doing!
So be sure to send in some of it.

Bordo Bello has partnered up with Grand Prix Graphix out of Golden to print any vinyl adhesive graphics at a discount for our artists’ boards!
If you are an artist, and you want to do this, check out all the fun specs surrounding that here.
New Vista high school art class

And speaking of classes who wanted to join in, we had a teacher from New Vista High School in Boulder take this on as part of her class project. Her class has been studying concrete to canvas this semster and she thought this would be a great fit.
Well we couldn’t agree more!!
david carson’s class will be rocking it out

As some of know, David Carson is currently teaching at the University of Wyoming in the Eminent Artists in Residence. He has enlisted one of his classes to design some decks for Bordo Bello. How cool is it that our mentorship component has reached and inspired this class? I think it is sick and going to add a great flavor to our event!
the plaid nation will return to denver

as we all might remember, Plaid took over the Egotist in the spring and brought their point of view to our neighborhood. Well AIGA has asked them to come back as participants to Bordo Bello and they agreed!
We are lucky to have this incredible group out of CT, a real one of a kind firm without the attitudes, without the bureaucracy, but with all of the talent. Living proof that small is the new big. They have literally re-thought how an agency could do business and delivered on a promise to do better.
And if you dont know too much about these guys, check them out at http://thinkplaid.com and at http://plaidnation.com
Holy Registrations Batman!

Thank you to everyone in the Denver area, as well as across the nation (and even into Canada!). We have over 250 boards coming from over 200 artists.
This show will be amazing. Artists will be emailed next week on board details and everyone keep on watching as we continue to talk about the incredible artist who signed up and all the details about the event as it begins to take form.
